Why do people who create products spend so much time sweating over the perfect name? I started down that road before consulting my 5-year-old for naming assistance. He was watching his favorite cartoon at the time and suggested a character from the show's name. After a little research, the name could not be more perfect!

Now, let us dive into why this sack should be held to a higher regard to hold such a name. The Jerry Sack will be there when you need a snack, it will be there when you need a helping hand, it will be there when you are tired and cranky, and it will be there when you just need some fresh air. The Jerry is the total package!

Like most of the people reading this I like to head out for a ride at daybreak when the air is crisp and just a little cold. These rides always start out chilly and warm up bringing happiness and the warmth from our burning star. As the miles pass by, we are always looking for a snack, an extra bottle, and a place to put all our extra clothes. The Jerry Sack’s 2.2L will hold an extra burrito (or three), a camera, an extra pair of gloves, your wind jacket/vest, and the foam padding will help to keep a few small bottles from freezing when the temperatures dip. There is a front pocket for your phone, wallet, and keys while the main compartment is perfect for those larger items. You may notice the zipper for the top compartment is further forward than center which was done to help with computer overlap. There is additional webbing on the front for attaching road finds, extra clothes, or even pinning on a race number (if you are into that sort of thing). The feature that really sets Jerry Sack apart from other bags on the market is the Small People Been Asking (S.P.B.A) attachment system that serves several functions. The top dowel distributes the load over a wider surface area for the handlebar attachment which helps to reduce sagging. This attachment also gives adjustable positions which allows smaller riders to have more cargo capacity. The lower loops can be used with the supplied dowel to keep the bag from collapsing around the headtube and can add additional attachment points for other bags. But and this is a BIG BUTT(!), those lower loops can also be used with the Swood T-Bar for unparalleled stability! If you are unfamiliar with the Swood T-Bar here are the basics. The T-Bar replaces a 20mm headset spacer and adds a lower rigid attachment that keeps your bag from rotating back onto the headtube and resting on your cables. It is not super heavy and I think it would be a fantastic addition to your set-up.
